Things to Do at The Tiny Ninja Hideout
Gas Works Park
Gas Works is a really cool place. It is an old gasifaction location of the Seattle utility company and a lot of the gas processing building is still there. It was converted to a park in the 1970's. Its a fabulous place for a picnic, walk or kite flying. It gets crazy busy there on really nice weekend days and many view the fireworks from this park. There are also special events and outdoor activities going on frequently throughout the summer.

Getting There
Walk east down 36th to Wallingford Avenue. Turn right and keep walking toward the city until you come to the park. You will cross the Burke Gilman Trail right before you cross the street to the park.

Burke Gilman Trail
The Burke Gilman Trail is a 27 mile long bike trail that goes from Ballard to Kenmore. There are some really cool places to stop along the trail including the Hiram Chittenden Locks, Gas Works Park and the University of Washington.

Recycled Cycles, which is on the corner of 35th and Stone Way (2 blocks away) offers bike rentals.

Getting There
Go west one block to Stone Way then turn left and walk two blocks to the corner of 34th and Stone Way. The trail is on the south side of the street across from Brooks Running. You pass Recycled Cycles on the way.
Woodland Park & Zoo Greenlake
This is a really awesome area. There is a fantastic lake with a running/walking/biking trail about 3 miles long going all the way around the lake. There are some great places to grab a bite to eat. At the north east end of the lake you can rent boats, kayaks, paddle boats and there is a beach with swimming.

The Woodland Park is in between Greenlake and the Woodland Park Zoo. Its a really great place to get to the woods in the city. Sometimes you might see some bunnies or owls.
Getting There
Go north on Stone Way up to 50th. There will be baseball diamonds on your left. The lake is just past the baseball diamonds.
