I believe that most methodologies used in product design and development are derivatives of the scientific method, including Jobs to Be Done, Design Thinking, Lean, Agile, etc. 

 

I do not subscribe to one methodology but rather integrated thinking based on the stakeholders, the strategy and the desired outcomes to create an experience just as we would for a product. Experiences are what drive outcomes and each program is designed to get from Point A to Point B.

 

I have conducted workshops and created programs with teams large and small and participants from scientists to CEOs. Getting from Point A to Point B looks different for each organization, program, and project because the variables are always different. If we had found one way that worked for everyone all of the time, there would be no need for innovation.
